To create a folder using the file manager, you must first choose the parent directory to create the new directory in. This is done by selecting the Browse Files tab and using the folder/file grid to navigate to the folder that you want to create the new folder in.
Once you have chosen the parent directory to create the new directory in, switch to the Create a Folder tab. For verification purposes, the parent directory that you selected will be listed next to the Create a New Folder In heading.
You can enter almost anything that you want into the Folder Name field, but there are a few restrictions to keep in mind:
Once you have typed a folder name, click the Create Folder button. You will be switched back to the folder/file grid, and the new folder will be available for use.
